A funny poem that relates the adventures of an unusual, not-your-average pirate. Pat Trax is kind, cheery and peace-loving, and treats the crew of his ship well. As he crosses the seven seas, he makes friends with a whale, an octopus and a parrot. Along with his fabulous friends, he has exciting adventures and ends up colonising a remote island. At the end of the story, Pat Trax reveals his secret: he is actually a girl dressed up as a pirate.
